Ateljé Ask was born from the partnership of two woodworkers, Clara Costes and Victor Webb. After finishing their education in fine woodworking and furniture design, they decided to start their own workshop together.

An opportunity which allowed them to work on a smaller scale and to take the time to create a relationship with both the clients and the projects. And mainly to keep exploring the infinite knowledge of traditional woodworking by experimenting with different wood essence and techniques.

The workshop is based in Ringön, an old industrial area of Gothenburg, on the West coast of Sweden. This is where all the magic happens.

Wood is an amazing material and wood joinery is a lifelong learning journey through different cultures and parts of the world. And it is an honour to be a part of that very long history of craftsmanship.
